Our core beliefs
God
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He is revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is our omnipresent, omnipotent helper, comforter, and guide to all who believe in Jesus. Christians are people who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside them by His Holy Spirit. They relinquish the authority of their lives over to him thus making Jesus the Lord of their life as well as Savior. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.
Humanity
We believe that people are made in the very image of God, to be like Him in our thoughts, beliefs, character and actions. Every person has the capacity and potential for good, but all of us “sin,” which literally means to miss the mark. Our sin separates us from God and is the cause of much of our difficulty.
Eternity
We believe there is life after physical death, and that we will be held accountable and judged by God; and that we will exist eternally with Him through our forgiveness and salvation, or will be separated from Him because of our sin. Heaven is an eternal joining with God, while Hell is to be eternally separated from Him and tormented with the devil.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate source of truth for all Christian beliefs. Because it is inspired by God. It is inerrant (without error in its original form). We also believe that the church has no authority to establish a practice or doctrine contrary to the Bible.
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. However, salvation can only be experienced through our acceptance of Jesus and His sacrifice.
Our Prayer For You
We pray that wherever you are on your journey, you choose to make Jesus the center of your life; that you become free from your past, so you can be more like Him.
That you discover your full, God-given potential and that you become empowered and emboldened to make a difference.
